4/9/2015: Unofficial End to the U.S. Civil War

April 9 is celebrated as the unofficial end of the American Civil War.  On this date 150 years ago

Confederate General Robert E. Lee surrendered to Union General, and future U.S. president, Ulysses S. Grant.  Civil War history is filled with inspirational figures.
